Our landscape gardening and groundworks services are carried out to the highest standards and every job is personally overseen by the company owner – Mr Gavin Baston who is an expert in his field. We believe that excellent quality and affordability are what makes us different from local competition.

Our rates are carefully calculated to reflect our true costs, the standard of work and the effort we put in. Rates are always provided upfront and an invoice is produced containing a breakdown of hours, materials and plant hire on completion of every job.

Landscaping & Turfing
Any garden large or small can be transformed into a beautifully landscaped area. Uneven surfaces can be levelled, graded and turfed to the highest standard. We have an excellent, local supplier of grade A turf at very reasonable prices. Paving & Patios
At GB Groundworks we dedicate a great deal of time and effort to source the very best quality materials at the best possible price. We will spend time with you helping you to choose the best paving for your garden, we will bring you samples, booklets and photographs. We are delighted and privileged to have an excellent working relationship with one of the North East’s top garden designers. Wendy Pilmer of Northumberland Garden Design has an amazing talent for outdoor design; together we can completely transform your outdoor space.

Using hardwood, ensuring quality and endurance we can tailor your fencing and decking to your specific requirements.
General Maintenance
We have a number of regular clients on our books, both domestic and commercial. Most popular in the local area are holiday lets; this type of work normally involves a weekly grass cut, with hedges and borders trimmed and weeded. It is usual for this type of work to take as little as an hour when carried out on a regular basis, keeping costs to a minimum.

Prices are given to our customers based on the measurements of the wall and the type of stone used; we never apply timeframes to wall building ensuring the highest quality finish however long it takes.
Plant Hire
GB Groundworks can arrange hire of mini diggers, dumper trucks, cherry pickers and all types of hand tools. Plant hire is always provided with one of our experienced drivers who are fully insured; call us for a quote.
